State Officer

Brenda joined the Auxiliary through my husband Bernard.   He served in the Army and during his time they lived at Fort Stewart, Hunter Army AirField, Ludwigsburg  Germany, Aberdeen, MD; and Ft Hood, TX. 

 

After service they lived in Thomasville, GA and Bothell, WA where Bernard worked for FEMA(MERS) detachment and he retired after 30 years with the federal government. 

 

Bernard and Brenda moved back to Georgia and settled in Athens. They were married 47 years when Bernard passed away in 2018. 

 

Brenda has been active in Amvets Ladies Auxiliary since 2005 holding offices on local and Department levels. It is an honor to hold the position of President of AMVETS Ladies Auxiliary Dept of GA.
